A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US

Sadie and Gavin first met 13 years ago when they were sent out into the wilderness on a 10-day backpacking trip with a group of 12 incoming freshmen as part of UCSC’s orientation program. As the story goes, Sadie wrote off Gavin as a total nerd and Gavin thought Sadie was a total valley girl (nice breakfast club-esque story arc in the making here). But throughout college, their friend groups merged and they found that they had more in common than they thought - good music taste, fun bike rides, and beach frisbee being just a few.

 

Over the past 6 years together, Gavin and Sadie have enjoyed their life together in Oakland, where their sweet dog, Zombie, came into their lives, and where they have honed their home improvement skills after buying an 1896 Victorian bungalow near Lake Merritt in 2022. 

 

After many busy years of schooling and working, Gavin and Sadie can’t wait to welcome in this next phase of their lives together!
